and fruitless years, you should give thanks, for
you know, that there were the things that helped
you grow.

Loving someone means giving him/her the freedom to

from you. Love is a painful risk to take but the

I have just realized that I have the COOLEST and TRUE friends in college and one of them is my good good friend, ouel. It just hit me this noon time when we were having lunch. While we were falling in line to take our order, we talked about his blog and there's a certain entry of his that involved me. Well, as common it may sound it was about my love life with mark. He knew that mark doesn't call or text me anymore and worst of all he didn't greet me on my birthday. He knew all about it because my other good friend krista told him since a few weeks ago. I was so moved by him when he showed his concerns and care for me. I didn't expect him to cheer me up that much. He gave an advice that I should let go and move on. He even gave me hugs to comfort me and then we also talked about his lovelife with one of my fellow "barkada" in college. Our conversation will continue one of these days or weeks depending on our school work because we both didn't give the details about our topics.

I am so thankful to have ouel, krista and andre as my friends whom I can open up with this kind of topic. They showed their care for me and comforts me alot which I heartily appreciate it. :)

hmm.. are they the friends whom i keep on praying for? well, time will tell how far our friendships will go even if we don't have any problems to share with each other.

It's been AGES since I last wrote here. I missed so much details these past few months. Well, that's life, sometimes you're laid-back and there are times that you're so busy that you forget to eat your meal. Let me have a recap on the things that I have missed to mention. I have a new group of friends, there are 10 of us. Composed of two different groups fused together, it started with a group that has 5 members in which that has only 1 girl [that's me] and the other with also 5 members that has only 1 boy [martin]. We or should i say I, didn't expect that this would happen. But then it did and I am happy about it. Now there are 10 of us namely: TJ, Dave, Andre, Ouel, Ka-te, Candice, Krista, Krista and Andy. Another thing that I missed is that I survived Botany and Philosophy [Logic] with the help of St. Jude Thaddeus of course! If it weren't for Him I would have lost my scholarship last second semester. I go and attend novena every Thursday at St. Jude church with some friends, we light candles that are colored Peach because it is believed that the colored Peach candles symbolizes your studies. There are other colors too that symbolizes other stuff such as:

Green - financial
Pink - love
Blue - career
Brown - health
Red - peace and hope
Violet - spirit
Yellow - in general
White - purity/ enlightenment

I remember, I almost fainted during the novena because of the torrid weather here in Manila. Good thing we stopped by KFC and some of my friends ordered something to eat so that they may be able to get a glass of water. I'm glad they did, because I was dehydrated and badly needed to drink water. Hmm.. What else to say? In our Zoology class, we skinned and dissected a frog and pih-hiyu!!! Boy was it stinky. It's stench was so foul that it makes you wanna barf and it loses your appetite to eat. But eventually, we got used to the smell. I guess that's it for now, it's getting late and it's past my bedtime 2 hours ago. This will be continued tomorrow perhaps. I have to review my lectures 'cos we'll be having quizzes this Friday and I want to get a satisfying score. Wish me luck!

For The First Time

Manila, Manila, Manila... *sigh...

My dad was right, in Manila you will meet all walks of life. One of which is crime specifically Robbery.

For the first time in my life, I was robbed this afternoon at Pure Gold in Sta. Mesa.
Argggh!
It was so frustrating at first 'coz my whole shoulder bag was stolen.. All my things are there: credit card, ATM cards, wallet, cellphones, car keys and the house keys. I was so worried in thinking how to go home and how to get IN our house. Manang and I do not have a spare key for the house. After the customer service helped me in calling the banks of my ATM cards to be blocked, one of the employees [supervisor I think?] approached me and said one of the guy employees who was restocking their items saw a bag that was in a pushcart. So I immediately went with her and then, when I saw my bag and looked at it's inside that the house keys and car key was not stolen my heart skipped a beat [metaphorically]. Even though me and Manang were still feeling bad, we continued our shopping for groceries and then went straight home. We arrived home about 5.30 in the afternoon. We spent 3 hours at Pure Gold! Whatta waste of time. Thinking I could have prepared my things for tomorrow, my first day of Second Semester. But nevertheless, I thank the good God for that incident. That I was only robbed and not kidnapped, raped or even murdered!

My dad will soon arrive here in Manila to help me with stuff... He will pay a visit to Pure Gold tomorrow and ask some questions about their surveillance camera stuff like that. I hope his visit will be successful and teach the theft a lesson.

semester break!!

I smell sweet freedom!!! Finally, I can relax, sleep late until dawn with no worries of getting up early the following morning and I can soundtrip again. Examinations are now over and boy, were there so many surprises and events that happed.

Just when we were about to take our finals in History, our professor choose some of us to sit accordingly to the seat plan he made for us for the exam. About half of the class were not given a seat plan and he told us to seat wherever we want to at the back and then told us we can do whatever we want to do, so we figured out that we were exempted. It was really unexpected coz he didn't mention anything ti us before; but I'm glad I didn't have to take the test because that time I was having trouble with my Filipino. It all started during our last meeting with our professor, we were having a debate: girls versus the boys and whoever wins between the two parties, will be exempted for her finals. So, there we were having our debate about premarital sex then when the debate was heating up, there was a misunderstanding between our professor and my classmate. Then, my teacher walked out said that all of us are going to take the finals. But during the day of our finals, her mind changed and it's a good thing because all of us didn't study. I'm happy that the issue is over and all of us moved on. Political Science was okay, I just hope my answers are correct. Chemistry is not good, I didn't take our finals seriously because I was so sleepy. I was confident that our exam will start at 11 just like if we have our class in Chem, but suddenly my teacher said to keep our reviewers and we'll start with our exam at that moment. Good thing the formulas were written at the board so that we will not have a harder time with the formulas. I hope my grades won't slip, yikes!!

But despite these, I'm very thankful because God has helped me so much. He is with me when I took the exams, I could feel it. :)
Plus, I am exempted to take our exams in History and Filipino thus making my load so much lighter. You are the best Lord!! I thank thee so much.

Hmm.. I really can't wait to go home next Saturday and feel the arms of my beloved Mark once again. I haven't seem him since the day I left for Manila. I also can't wait to see our new office and finally see my parents especially my dad whom I also haven't seen since the day I left for Manila.

I just realized something

Hmm.. Something hit me just a while ago. I have realized something about my college friends, they are not as bad as I thought they are. My "friend" Krista and I are getting a lot better now, she exerts some effort better than before in which she just copies the answer. You might say that we are kinda close, but not really. Well, closer than my first-week-of-college friends. And my seatmate Mayrose and I are doing better and better, she's so easy to talk to, actually she's the one whom I tell some of my personal things that I don't tell other people and she's also the one who "catches" my anger. Because whenever I'm annoyed or irritated at school, I tell her about it and after a while I feel better as if my anger and annoyance transferred to her, the only thing is she doesn't easily get annoyed like I do. Then there's Ate Prema, one of the eldest among us who is 23 just like my sis. We are not in good condition lately, but things are better than the last time. We don't talk to each other like before, we only talk if it's necessary. At first I thought she was okay but as time goes by, her true character slowly shows and I don't like it one bit, so I tend to avoid her at often circumstances to avoid further inconvenience to the both of us. Because last time, we eat lunch together but not anymore. There's Kate, who was sitting in front of me on the first day school and for hours we didn't talk to each other. Boy, was that awkward!! We didn't talk until some of our classmates from the other table transferred to our table and let us introduce ourselves. And that was the only time when we knew each other's name! It was really uncomfortable for me because if it wasn't because of Ferlyn, we wouldn't bother on asking what's our name then have a short chat or find something in common about us. I was really shy with her even on our first day, imagine for almost 2 hours we didn't talk to each other even though we were facing each other! But I discovered she's a really good person who helps others just like this one time when Tj had an accident with Martin, he had a scratch near his elbow and it bleeded a bit, she offered him band-aid and was very concerned with him. She also is very smart and gets high scores in most of the subjects, I envy her 'cos she seems perfect. I know it's wrong to envy other people for it is one of the deadly sins but I just can't get my eye out of her. How I wish that I could be like her who is good, kind, smart, pretty, rich and makes friends easily. The rest of my classmates are so good, just like Vic a.k.a Ouel. He's so nice and smart too. I admire his knowledge in English, I learn things from him and I'm liking it. He's a funny guy too, fun to talk and be with. Trusted I might add. There's Carlo and Dyastin too. The "partners" in crime. That's what I acknowledge them they're funny too and fun to be with just like when we went to Trinoma when we were supposed to stay at UE Caloocan. They were like clowns fooling around only funnier! I almost forgot to mention Dhang and Joy, they are really nice people whi keeps on smiling and is patient. As for the rest of my classmates, I would describe them on another entry some time. All in all, I love my classmates and wish that on the second semester, we all would be classmates.

Revelations

Today, September 14 of 2007 at around 11pm I revealed to my parents about my relationship with Mark.
I can't believe it!! I finally got it out of my chest, I'm feeling so ecstatic and I have this indescribable feeling right now. But I was kinda sad a bit when I heard my mom said that she doesn't want Mark 'cos he's naughty. And of course I defended him and told my mom that she doesn't know Mark that well yet. And the rest is just a blur, I went blank when I realized that we are finally "legal" to my parents. Too bad I didn't catch my dad's opinion, I hope he would like Mark better than my mom *praying*. Despite this, I'm super happy about it that after talking to them on the phone, I screamed with my mouth covering my pillow so that our helper manang wouldn't be disturbed; then jumped around like crazy. It really is a big deal to me that my parents know about us, because now we have no secrets hiding from them and it feels so GOOD!!!! :)

But I won't stop praying that my parents would love Mark as I do.

I can't wait to see Mark's reaction when I'll tell him what I revealed to my parents. I think I can picture out now with what his reaction might be. Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and that he would just be happy about it.

My good friend Jan Andre Ramirez was the first person I told this about. And boy is he excited to hear the whole story tomorrow.

I thank the good Lord for today, I didn't feel bad as I imagine I would before. God is so good to me! :D

nothing exciting happened today, I think I'm going goo-goo-gaga over here. I'm bored to death but I don't wanna go out with my friends [I'm saving up for a cellphone] or even watch tv. I find it boring now, the shows are reruns plus there's nothing good on. Oh, just a few hours ago tj, dave and andre were here. We watched Jump In! at Disney Channel. I remembered Mark, he likes that movie. Lately, I can't help not to think about him. I wanna be in his arms and feel him. I really can't wait to go home this sem-break. We don't have classes today by the way, it's foundation week and tonight, there's a concert at our school by Sandwhich and Calla Lilly. I didn't go though, I'm not a fan of either band. I think my fellow classmates didn't go either. I better get off the internet and study and do my homeworks now. I have this feeling that next week I will be loaded with schoolwork since this week we had only a few class meeting. tah-tah!

UE Caloocan

Today felt like we had a field trip. It all started when I woke up around 7 am and immediately took a bath and left the house with TJ and dave without taking my breakfast. Then we waited for Andre at Mcdo near the overpass of Morayta and all together went to school, but our other classmates left ahead of us because we were already late and some of them are already eager to go to UE Caloocan. Nevertheless, we took a long trip [and a complicated one I might add] to UE cal (it's foundation week). Upon entering the entrance of the LRT 2 we encountered with Amir our persian classmate from Botany class, he didn't know that we were to go to UE cal. so we invited him to go with us. At first we really do not know how to go there but then we did after all *toinkz!

We rode the LRT 2 going to recto then rode the LRT 1 to monumento and from there rode a taxi to UE cal. Our classmates were already there browsing around, we did too but we didn't stay there for long. After eating me, andre, tj, dave, andy, lyndel, chinee, genevive, mayrose, krista, julius, carlo, dyastin, joy and dhang rode a jeep then a bus to Trinoma. It was really really fun!! We were all fooling around like little kids, too bad some of our classmates didn't go with us. We took a lot of pictures, too bad only few are not blurred. My friends sang at the karaoke and some of them played arcade while passing the time for them to be able to watch the movie: Resident Evil..

September 13,2007 was one of the [nice] days of being a college student. That noon time, after we had our midterms on History our professor dismissed us 15 minutes to 12nn. My classmates Krista, Andre, Tj, and his brother Dave ate lunch at our house. Then we rode the LRT together going to Gateway and boy, was the line in getting a ticket looooong! There were so many people including in the train. Upon arriving at Gateway we met with our other classmates and went together to Araneta and looked for a seat. When we arrived there, we got to catch the game between UST and FEU, too bad UST lost. Anyhow, When the game between UE and DLSU began, there was already trouble and it was only the start of the first quarter. But despite that, we still won.. whew! It was a close fight, good thing we did well in the overtime [84-92] yeah boy... Doing "the wave" was a first for me!!! it was so fun yipee!!! After the game me, tj, dave, andre, krista, carlo, ouel, genesis, dyastin, steen and hiroshi ate at the food court and then we separated to go home. I arrived home about 10pm or so.

The following day which is yesterday Andre,Tj and Dave ate here again for dinner. We made our homework in Chemistry and watched a 'lil bit of DVD while talking about our personal life. It was fun, we kept on laughing and laughing. Too bad mom and dad wouldn't allow me to invite them every now and then at our house for security reasons. For my parents, 3 boys [or 2 boys and 1 not so boy] + me and manang alone at home = not good. But I understand because they do not want anything to happen to me and that's how much they love me.. :]

I'm so blessed.

The down side of yesterday's enjoyment was, Mark forgot about us.. :'[ (ouch)

If most people hopes and prays that tomorrow's classes will be suspended, if you ask me I really hope NOT. 'cos I don't want our break to be moved. We are so behind in schedule, imagine we still have not taken out midterms for history? That's how late we are.. Plus, I wanna go back to ZC and see mark already.. I'm so curious if his image has changed.

That's all folks... I gotta go study now for our theoretical quiz in Botany tomorrow. I hope I know the answers to the questions.

But before I post this entry, I remembered something although it may offend and maybe anger some people. But what the heck, I just wanna share what I saw this afternoon.

When we were waiting for our Filipino professor, there were writings on the board at the Engineering building [our classroom in Filipino] and these were written there..

Because of the "13-0" score of UE in the UAAP, UE is confident in winning this thursday's game versus DLSU. And know what? written on the board was:

[UST] - Uwi Silang Talunan

and for ADMU, I forgot. hehehe... i found this funny and somehow cruel.

Well, I hope we will win the game on thursday!!! GO RED WARRIORS!!!
